In past Artists used to starve. Nobody in society used to like Artist at home unless they made money. They were kind of ignored till they achieved some success. From one success to another they had to hustle and live miserable.
Then comes internet. Many artists be it through drawing, music, dance made some money. Some earned from commission work. Some made money out of the tips.
Then comes the AI.
Now artists are going to starve once again.
Why? Because the silly world we live in, there are people paying high sum for the AI generated art. And unfortunately that is a bad future for the artists.

There is this new SAAS product out there. You just explain what type of imagery you have in mind. Like say some ship sailing in some dreamland of treasure planet? You bet you get exactly that.

Imagine people loading tons of new art into the opensea after reading various such type of the AI made art. Tons of people ending up loading entire NFT market with such art.
All that would lead to is that some images may become superior to the human art and then that would stack up. Which would demoralize a lot of artists in the due process. This would lead to more or less issues with the NFT market buyers.
NFT market Saturation
If everybody starts to make some of such art then it would saturate the market. And the rich people who want to buy the art would buy the AI program instead and generate the art.
So the imagination, creativity and the art would lose the value in the due process. Which means the NFT market would get more saturated in the process. And the real artists would be moving away from this to the job that pays them.
Art is slowly losing it's value on the internet as the art gets under the command of the AI. It would not lead to any value for the buyer considering few lines into the AI software is making them some money.
What should Artists do then?
This is a burning question. Because even coders may lose the value as they will be employed for writing basic code snippets anymore. Data scientists wont be getting job for making basic plots.
Same would happen with the artists. You are not going to make money for doing something basic. You would have to create following, become some celeb and then influence people to pay you. Otherwise they always have the AI to do art for them.
This applies to many other industries where the human input is going to be losing the value. We have no strong reasons to appreciate art if it continues to be made by machine.
I think after content writing, now art and in near future complete developer jobs would be overtaken by the AI, we are going to be in search of place where we can create more jobs and put food on table.
