Palestine is led by Hamas which is a radical Islamic fundamentalist group who rejects free speech and liberalism (in the classical sense). I maybe do not like Israel as well, but I would much rather defend Israel who supports more liberal values - who supports secularist values - than a fringe Pro-Sharia Law loving group like Palestine. If Palestine finally decides to get rid of their leadership, the fanatical Islamic fundamentalists, then I would support Palestine.
