I leave 3  of my favorite recipes.

When the temperature goes down, and the outdoors becomes unattractive to go outside, there is no better plan than snuggling on the couch with a good cup of hot chocolate. For us, this is one of the best things about winter, and we want to show you that these drinks can not only be made up of milk and cocoa, as traditionally thought. Forget about paying excessive costs for a special coffee and learn to prepare them yourself with these delicious ideas.

1. Pumpkin spice with white chocolate

This is a mild alternative to complement the traditional chocolate, adding a little white chocolate and a touch of pumpkin spice to make it even more attractive.

Performance: 2 cups

Ingredients:

1 cup of milk cream

2 cups of milk

1 cup of good quality white chocolate chips (or chopped white chocolate)

2/1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Half a teaspoon of pumpkin spices

Whipped cream and extra pumpkin spices to sprinkle on top

Instructions:

1. Pour the milk into a pot and put it on medium heat, until it is hot but not boiling. Stir from time to time.

2. In a medium bowl, combine cream, milk and white chocolate. Stir until the chips melt.

3. Add vanilla extract and pumpkin spices.

4. Cover it with the optional whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice.

2. Hot chocolate with coconut and three milks

If you rarely find time to taste a delicious hot chocolate in the morning, believe me, from now on you will!

Performance: 4 cups

Ingredients:

2 cups of milk (whole milk)

2/3 cup condensed milk (approximately 1/2 of a 14 oz.)

2 spoons of cocoa powder without sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Sugar-coated whipped cream (optional)

Chocolate chips (optional)

14 ounces of Coconut milk

Instructions:

1. Pour the whole milk, coconut milk and sweetened condensed milk into a medium saucepan, and beat well to combine.

2. Place the mixture over medium-low heat and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally so that it does not burn at the bottom of the pan.

3. Once it simmers, add the cocoa powder and beat until smooth.

4. Remove the pan from the heat and add the vanilla.

5. Serve hot chocolate topped with optional sweetened whipped cream, chocolate chips, marshmallows or any other filling of your choice.

3. Hot chocolate with sautéed caramel

Topped with caramel sauce dripped on the whipped cream, this hot chocolate will be the last whim for the palate

Performance: 8 cups

Ingredients:

1½ cups granulated sugar

¼ teaspoon fresh lemon juice

4½ cups of milk at room temperature

8 oz milk chocolate, cut into small pieces

2 ounces of dark chocolate, finely chopped

A pinch of large salt

Whipped cream and caramel sauce, to decorate (optional)

Instructions:

1. Place the sugar in a small bowl and add the lemon juice, rubbing until the sugar is moist and fragrant.

2. Place a medium saucepan over medium heat and leave it for a few minutes until it is hot.

3. Add sugar and start stirring immediately. Continue stirring until it liquefies and turns amber.

4. Pour over the milk until you get a smooth liquid.

5. Once the milk starts to boil, remove the pan from the heat. It is important to make sure it does not boil.

6. Add the chocolates to the pan and mix until everything is smooth and the chocolate melts. Add a pinch of salt, as much as you want.

7. Serve with a little whipped cream and caramel, or an optional sauce if desired. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.

I hope you  enjoy these recipes.
