Tiny pieces that keeps my head together. Fractions of time when I feel totally free from all the shackles. There is no weight of world on my shoulder nor feeling of pressure compressing my chest. I can breath. I feel air flowing freely in and out of my lungs. Every breath I take makes me feel a little bit more alive, every breath clears my head a little bit more. Air is filled of scents, blooming wild flowers, grass, moss, spruces…
There is no artificial noises besides occasional clicking of my camera. A few birds are making subtle noise somewhere in woods, an owl calls the night.
Even air is still. Wind doesn’t disturb the silky surface of pond. It is like a mirror, reflecting back everything. Every success, and every failure.
I breath in the calmness of that time and place, hoping that it would make me survive a few days longer in the world of chaos and destruction.
If I told people that I took naps so I could spend the night running around in woods and fields alone, people would call me crazy. But sometimes life is about little things, scent of forest, solitude, the feeling of endless happiness when you see fox family with 6 cubs playing in woods. You can’t buy that feeling.
