It indeed is a form of art. No matter if you rant irl or in internet, nobody is willing to listen you if your rant in the wrong way. In my opinion, not even ranting can’t be too serious business, a grain of salt with everything and some extremely dark humor will go long way.
I might seem pissed off as fuck when I rant, and that is my intention in general, to seem that way. When you seem a little pissed off the rant will hit better. To be honest, when I start writing rants I usually am pissed off. All though writing is a form of therapy also for me, so my mood mellows down while writing and even if I seem pissed off, I might already be on good mood when I finish my rant.
But that actually depends on the topic. Some topics are like red cloth to me, works every freaking time…
Shit, shittier, shittiest
”Everything is shit” kind of ranting isn’t really entertaining. I need to have some pointers even in my rants. And some of that dark humor of mine. I like to read rants, because they have tendency to be passionate and honest. So, if we add some humor in them I feel like they are the perfect form of text! Rants tells a lot from the writer, about their passion and general opinions. What are the things they highly value, because let’s face it: you don’t rant if you don’t care.
Things that makes me flame up are important to me. And even if I seemingly don’t care about things too much there still is frigging big pile of topics that triggers me every single time. Even one word can sometimes cause instant rage towards humankind. For public safety I’m not giving those words out in here, so you can’t use them against me. But I’m just saying, if you have any idea what kind of person I am, you can already guess like one third from my triggers. If you want to entertain yourself in hard-core way, I’ll tell you a secret: The same words works also to @eveuncovered usually…
Triggers For Giggles
I consider ranting as a form of entertaining, but I’m little fucked up with my sense of humor anyway. I like to look my life with a little sarcastic eyes, through black lenses. When I manage to cause somebody to rant or get annoyed to me, I just sit back with some popcorns and enjoy the show. For me it is extremely funny to watch when somebody loses their nerves and control totally because of me. Example, just a few days ago we were having lunch at work and talking a little politics over there, and I noticed that one of my co-worker felt the topic under his skin. I couldn’t help it, added some fuel for the flames and enjoyed show with my lunch.
So what about my rants? There have been quite a few already. Usually they can be summary in one though Privacy. Being private person and wanting to keep yourself as anonymous are two totally different things. I choose my self what do I share, but I’m doing it with my own face, and I don’t like when people try to dig my identity or history. If I wanted to be anonymous wouldn’t be posting pics about myself nor using the same user all the time.
Humm, I might have lost a track there for a second.
Ranting is something that keeps the air clean. We all need to get stuff out of our systems.
