Your body works best when the temperature is around 98.6ºF (37ºC). When your body gets hotter than that, and your brain doesn't like it - the brain wants the body to stay cool and comfortable. So the part of your brain that controls temperature, called the hypothalamus, then the hypothalamus sends a message to your body to sweat to regulate body temperature.
Then special glands in your skin called sweat glands begin to sweat. Sweat is also known as sweat glands, and is made almost completely water, with a small amount of other chemicals such as ammonia which causes sweat to smell, urea, salt and sugar.
Sweat Produced by glands in the deeper layers of the skin, called dermis. Sweat glands occur throughout the body, but the most abundant are on the forehead, armpits, palms and soles of the feet. The human body has + - 2 million sweat glands. The average adult loses 540 calories with each liter of sweat. Men sweat 40% more than women.
