But I am back, and I will will be participating in this weeks contest. For this week I will be doing a very interesting song by PC Lapez tittled *Obim*.
Obim is an interesting old Igbo love song, but for my entry this week I will be doing PZ Lapez version of song. PC Lapez was able to convert this interesting Igbo love song to an interesting high-life adding some interesting verses. Today, I will be free styling Lapez own version of Obim.
PZ Lapez is a well known contemporary Nigerian high-life singer and producer, and I am big fan of his. I am a big fan of African music, most especially high-life. That explains why I love PZ Lapez style of music. Beyond the Style of the music, I am also in love with the beautiful lyrics of this very song. Obim is a song that depicts what true love should be, it a song that encourages us to hold tight to love irrespective of the challenges we might face is in the process. It's indeed a beautiful song, and I am happy to shear it with you today.
Obim as produce by Lapez is an Igbo high-life with Pidgin English verses. And will be doing that exact version. I just hope you enjoy my style. Love you all!
