Over here in Nigeria things keep getting worse by the day and one if not careful enough could be swallowed by that very fact. As an individual I cannot remember when last I went to have a personal and recreational activities. It is either I am working and when I am not, I using the little time I have got to rest from the stress of work. Even with all these one cannot overemphasize the need for making out time for his or her personal life.

Truth be told, I have never been able to manage my time very well. I almost do not have a personal time. In all I do though, I am always mindful of my health. I may not have enough time for myself but whatever I do must not get to my health. So as much as possible, I always find enough time to rest.

MY DAILY ROUTINE

My daily routine makes it almost impossible to have personal times. I wake up as early as possible prepare and set off for work. After the whole busy day at work, I come home to sit in from of my system to face hive activities and some other stuff that need my attention. It was almost like I was working round the clock. At some point I almost broke down but it taught me a lesson. It have taught me to priorities my health and I have resolved within myself to always find time to rest. It was not an easy task though since it seemed like I had no single time left from the 24 hours of the day. That not withstanding, I had to place my priorities right and I eventually found time for myself.

THE QUEST TO SURVIVE AS NIGERIANS

For those of us who are Nigerians living in Nigeria, it is indeed very difficult to be a Nigerian but we must keep surviving. Sometimes to survive demands that we works harder than we should and that is the problem. In less than a year, things have gone two times worse than they were economically and salaries never goes high. That alone implies that depending on salary alone will barely sustain an average Nigerian. Business owner on the other hand face serious challenges in cost of handling their business. For one to survive then, he must have to work extremely hard. But even in all these, we must always remember that we are still human, biological humans. Bearing this in mind, we must do all that is in our power to ensure that we live a life that will not cost us our health. Health is wealth as many will say and it is only a healthy man that can go after wealth.

I HAVE NOT BEING ABLE TO BALANCE MY PERSONAL TIME

I have failed as an individual to define my personal time, I as a matter of fact practically has no time for myself. Being a Nigerian is probably enough excuse, but I really don't think so. Every individual regardless of what might be his or her condition should be able to distinguish between work and personal time. Not being able to do that can cause serious harm to the one involved. At this point in my life, I am just like a smoker who goes on smoking even after reading the inscription smokers are liable to die young on the packet of the cigarette. I have told myself that I will give up working more than I should, but I just pray I don't end up like the smoker who finally gets addicted.
