Finding Liberty
In 2015, Rory was introduced to Libertarianism by a close friend. Politically agnostic and generally apathetic towards the duopoly of modern politics, Libertarianism offered both an outlet and a home for the rough outline of a personal philosophy. Fast forward to 2019, Rory has worked to establish himself as a young voice within the Liberty movement, focusing on individual rights and peaceful dissidence.
An Outlet
Rory graduated from the University of Scranton in 2012 with a Bachelor's in English Literature. Having written as a daily habit since he was ten years old and being published in several literary journals, he turned his attention to the 2017 collapse of the Northern Irish government, offering his perspective on a number of issues in Northern Ireland through the Freedom Today Network and Speak Freely with the European Students for Liberty. Returning to American politics, Rory's work has been featured with Being Libertarian, Think Liberty, and the Foundation for Economic Education.
New Projects
In the fall of 2018, Rory released his first children's book, inspired by his own childhood experience in which he waived his Fourth Amendment rights. I Know My Rights: A Children's Guide to the Bill of Rights and Individual Liberty is a fun and comprehensive breakdown of the first Ten Amendments and introduces the fundamental concepts of Self-Ownership and Voluntaryism.
