Capturing mist has been on my list for ages, but I guess I have to move to a different country as we only have mist once per year, for one or two days, in the morning and evening and never dense enough to get some decent photos. Since I've been on Hive there were two times, when I could take some photos of mist and only one photo shoot was ok by my standards, so I understand your pain :)

there are times when learning the artists vision has caused me disappointment. Maybe that is arrogant of me, I'm not sure, after all it is their creation but then the old adage of 'the eye of the beholder' still holds true.

I'm with you on that, after learning the truth from the artist, comes disappointment, almost always.
