To nail the point home, this tree receives zero special treatment. It gets no pesticides or special fertilizer
If I say I envy them, is an understatement. Lemons don't grow in my country, or should I say in some greenhouses, here and there, mostly grown my those who have the luxury to heat a greenhouse through winter, for entertainment purposes.
All the lemons you get in the grocery store are imported. Some are treated with chemicals, some (they say) are organic, but only God knows if it's true.
I know a lot on the other hand, from TV. Italians have all kinds of lemon types, you would be shocked to know the whole story.
I'd be happy to have a lemon tree, would make jam, limoncello and all kinds of goodies out of those heavenly fruits.
