Hive is a very interesting place where you can be successful, or unsuccessful, depending on how you act and what you're looking for. The vast majority of people are here to earn and some are earning indeed, while others get a few dollars here and there. This place is not for everyone and you realize that when reality kicks in and you see that old social media behavior will take you nowhere.
This week I read a post in which the author was complaining about the actual price of Hive and expressed their disappointment. I can understand them as if they are living off of Hive, the situation is far from ideal.
This is what Hive, HBD and Leo worth at the moment of writing. I needed to check as I'm not following the price closely, I'm not one of the people who can't go to sleep without checking the market and the first thing they do in the morning is to check it again, and then complain. I've learned a long time ago to be patient with Hive as this is not a get rich quickly kind of business.
I believe many still don't see the opportunity we have here, wasting a good chance to build the foundation that can benefit them later. The price of Hive is sinking, deep and I'm wondering how deep is deep. Not that I'm worried though.
These users can't see the future potential of the platform as they are blinded by concentrating on some quick gain. The platform is developed slowly, we have new opportunities all day and who are staking and staking, will be in a very good position in the near future. This is somehow a natural selection, I don't mind as business is not for everyone, and the profit is for those who are taking the risk.
If you haven't heard, HivePay.io was introduced yesterday by @ jongolson, which is an app that simplifies the process of sending and receiving Hive based payments between merchants and customers. You will be able to incorporate it in your blog or website and accept payments in Hive. This is huge if you ask me.
I have faith in the platform and the community, and am building my future on hive slowly. Another month has gone by and it's time for me to look at the numbers. This is a new habit as I'm usually writing down that I have in my wallet at the end of the month and not really analyzing it. I still like to enjoy my time here by blogging and connecting with others and worry less about how much is in my wallet, but I do take posting quality seriously and like to use my stake to help others grow.
I was able to close October with 29073 HP. That's a 2,397 HP growth, considerably better than in the previous month, when I had a growth of 1509 HP. I'm ok with that and I'm never frustrated because of the price of the token. This is a game for the future.
What about you? Are you worried to see Hive at $0.114? How deep is deep for you? Are you thinking of abandoning the platform is the price goes under $0.114?
