The Revenant and Arrival are two recent movies I've watched that have awesome cinematography. I'm not suggesting cinematography is the single most important part of a film but the visual portrayal of 2049 is terrifying. The reflections and projections of the Los Angeles we fell in love with in the Ridley Scott original are undeniably beautiful and the visuals have come through again. Trailer:
