I turned 55 this year and, in so many ways, I feel like certain aspects of life are just beginning. I'm much more confident and feel like I know myself better. However, I struggle with some of the same thoughts as you sometimes—mortality certainly seems more real now and I want to make the most of each minute and Hive (all social media really) doesn't hold the same appeal as it once did. So many people are recognizing now how social media has changed them. I've been posting regularly on here now for over ten years. I realized this year that it was beginning to feel more like a job, something I HAD to do. I'm not making much of anything on here anymore but stay for the friends I've met. I'll probably begin posting less in the next year and focusing my energies elsewhere. 50's are definitely not too old to achieve!
