It's very sad. Nature can been very harsh. They think it was some kind of infection that caused blood clots. They found clots in the kidneys and her wing. This family of eagles were instrumental in helping FOBBV raise $10M to by some of the land around the nesting spots. Developers wanted to build high-end homes on it. I'm glad they were stopped and this land will be preserved now for future generations.
