I bet that was an amazing adventure. New York City is such a vibrant place, probably even more so back then. I was very near sighted too before my LASIK surgery. The world looked like an impressionist painting before I put my glasses on or contacts in! : ) I'm enjoying Marilyn's poetry! I'm reading a few poems every day.
