What a cool coffee shop! I love the exposed beams and it seems the atmosphere is perfect. I used to really like a good dark roast made in a pour-over (drip) but have been gravitating more towards medium and lighter roasts lately because of the caffeine kick. It's insane what a good cup of coffee can be made at home with good beans, a burr grinder, the proper temperature of water, and a pour-over coffee maker. I rarely get coffee out anymore because I find myself disappointed more often than not. When I'm traveling I'll sometimes do a cappuccino or latte for the extra protein.
