Oh yes, it's totally okay not to want to be the hero of our own stories—healthy even. Some of us are wired that way though. Also modern society does it's best to amplify and convert people to this way of thinking as well. This era of job displacement coming with the advent of AI/Robotics now will be a good time to rethink what we define as personal success.
