I know how much disinformation is out there so I try to refrain from writing about this stuff until I'm fairly clear about what's going on. You're right, I think this involves the highest levels of our society. I just don't know if the specifics are being withheld due to an ongoing investigation or if the information is being withheld to protect powerful people (maybe both?).
