Yeah, this one has reframed how I think about health and wellbeing all together. I mean I knew there was a mind-body connection but this book makes a pretty good case about how your mind is ground zero for almost every disease imaginable. There are other factors, of course (like diet and exercise) but it all begins as a mental imbalance. Just about all of us have some kind of repressed trauma from childhood that we're repressing (even if we don't realize it) so that contributes to those imbalances. The author says "people pleasers" are among those that have the highest risk for all diseases and most people become that way from growing up in toxic environments.
