It does bring me joy and anticipation. I've felt this a few times in my life and one of those times was right before Steemit happened. Yes, that entire lockdown was like a fork in the road that split society into two groups. The time away from friends also broke down relationships in other ways and peoples' desire to socialize in general. I think most of my lost friendships fall into that last category.
