What a different time it was back then! I always say my early school days (1975-79) were much more like the 1950's than today. There was much more respect and discipline, a clear hierarchy between students and school staff. That was horrible to hear about that male teacher who exposed himself. Hopefully he never took things any further. I guess not everything from the past was better. If a teacher did that today they'd be fired in a second. We had a male history teacher in middle school who had a reputation for getting too friendly with the young girls. I have no idea if he ever crossed the line with any of them but it wouldn't have surprised me if he did.
