So much of our society has been "captured" by this. The pandemic really woke a lot of people up: it split our society into two groups really.

I find myself watching a lot of the older stuff too. It seems like the 1990's is when entertainment really morphed into what it is today. The extreme nature of everything is turned up to "10" to trigger maximum dopamine release in the viewer. I've noticed I have a sore jaw after watching films in the theater because the fast action and violence depicted in them make me clench my teeth. Even modern children's shows are like an explosion of color, action, and noise so they deliver the same dopamine hit in a different way.

It sounds like your son is definitely healing you in your dreams. I'm so happy to hear that and I hope you keep having those dreams!
