That's not what I intended when I was writing it. I was just thinking about how when being viewed by limited bandwidth humanity just seems to be stuck in a rut, cycling through the same mistakes again and again. Most of our real "breakthroughs" tend to not be intentional.
There's even the "stoned primate" theory about how psychedelics may have been at least played a partial role in our evolution into our current state. I've also been reading theories about the Annunaki and how they created homo sapiens by genetically engineering a lessor primate.
According to legend, while they were tinkering, they inserted a "worship gene" into our DNA. They did this so humans would be more apt to seek salvation outside of themselves, thus follow something they deemed greater than themselves rather than turn their attention inward and discover their true power. Pretty fascinating! If this is true it makes sense why we keep making the same mistakes. I think this poem ended up being just a mashup of all that information I was consuming! Lol. It would also explain some of those unrealized/unacknowledged powers.
"...our known unknowns, could fill volumes" I just meant a lot of us realize, at least on some level, where our gaps in understanding and deficiencies are.
