Most states in the U.S. have fairs around this time. Some counties do too. Believe it or not this is a light crowd for our fair! During crowded days you’re shoulder-to-shoulder with about 150k other people.

The fairgrounds is about equal distance from both downtown areas. I've never been to Toronto (except on layover at the airport) but it looks like an incredible city. It would be fun to visit their fair!
