Yes! Shadow was just a youngster when Jackie originally paired up with him. She was robbing the cradle (or was it the nest?). It's been quite the education for us. Our son is captivated by it as well.

Me too! It would have been a tremendous loss.

Most municipalities pass on a portion of the data centers’ power usage to the citizens nearby through higher rates for “peak usage.” Thanks, it was great catching up. Enjoy the garden!

Me too. I miss so many people who used to write here! My blogs are beginning to feel more like a personal journal, which is okay too I guess. I think the trend has moved away from my style of writing.

It was horrendous! I guess it was more like a day...I took the THC oil around 5pm and was just beginning to feel normal later the next afternoon. I have a greater respect for it now. Lol.

Thanks Jay! We have a ton here too. They're more active during certain times of the year but it's fairly common to look up and see one soaring. I think, at their worst, the population was down to a few

The problem with data centers is water pollution (heavy metals/microplastics) and higher energy bills for us. Cell towers are a huge concern!

Wow, you're almost done already?! My SIL got her certification years ago and it was pretty intense from what she told us. Super active here lately but I, increasingly, feel like I'm shouting into the

You can "get into the weeds" pretty quickly with edibles. I won't do the homemade ones anymore. I tried THC oil in Montreal in 2023 and misread the dosage. I meant to take 10mg but ended up take

Not bad! I'm actually considering taking a little break for a while.

That's because I have it pretty well dialed-in I think. I never partake during the work day, only at night. The house is finished, nearly! Overall I'm happy but we have data centers being built about ten

I don't think the enhanced creativity is a figment of your imagination. It certainly does that for me, as well as getting me to think in different ways. The reduced productivity can definitely be a thing.

P.S. So glad you're writing again. : )

I really enjoyed reading this! I, too, have enjoyed my share of cannabis throughout the years (as you could probably surmise). These days the most I'll do is half a 10mg gummy in the evenings. I find life

Very much so! The same thing has happened with honey, maple syrup, and now—avocado oil. As my mom often says...I was mortified! I've published that story elsewhere as-is. I wonder if anyone else even noticed?!

I had no idea! Many of our squirrels have wounds but those must be from eagles and other predators.

I did a lot of proofing when I worked corporate. We designed credit insurance programs for financial institutions and that included designing/proofing all of the training materials and applications. Over

When I worked corporate proofing was a large part of my job and it trained me to spot typos. It's crazy to see how many make it out into the world. I've even found typos on ATM screens! Lol. I've lived

I think people are definitely losing trust in both large corporations and the regulatory agencies that are supposed to be looking out for us. I'd love to see a large shift to consumers buying locally.

Well, if that's the case, my manuscript was very finished! Lol. Interesting about the carpet weavers! I think a few mistakes here and there make things a little more "human" and sometimes those
