July/August would not be pleasant. I read the feels like hovers around 110 during the day in August. The food I had in Austin was incredible. They even have good BBQ at the airport. As good as the BBQ

I had no idea these swans were considered an invasive species! We have small numbers of them landing in the ponds in the wetlands around us during the spring migration. I think they have their babies elsewhere
