I think we all help to shape the world, to a greater or lessor degree, even if we're not conscious of it. Working to preserve that desire is a very admirable trait!

I think the times Marcus Aurelius lived in were very similar to the world we live in today. Perhaps because the Roman civilization was on such a similar trajectory is why his writings resonate so much

I agree. The philosophy seems like its a good fit for the times we're living in. Thank you @tonyes! I hope you've had a nice weekend.

Hey Zeke! Yeah, what you say is true. I think the best way to change the world for most of us is to work on our own stuff, be the most authentic versions of ourselves, and strive to become a little better

Thanks, I appreciate you taking the time to read it.

I'm definitely putting this book shop on my list for my next visit to London. I've been thinking about a trip back to England quite a bit over the last few weeks. It's hard to believe it'll be six years

I would love to try Linux. I know most hardcore coders and people in the crypto realm prefer that OS. My brother is a huge fan of Motorola phones. That's all he's bought over the past decade. I've read

Yeah, it sure is. From the reviews I've watched about the Nothing phones the only real drawback is the camera and that's kind of a substantial one for most of us. I really hope they improve this before

Oh, the iPod was probably my favorite product of theirs! I had one before I bought my first iPhone. It seemed so incredible in the days of CDs to be able to store hundreds of songs on one small device.

Hopefully this makes its way to America eventually.

Thanks! I appreciate the follow. It'll be interesting to learn how many Hivers are on Medium. Although I got a bump in traffic since monetizing I've had very little engagement otherwise so my hopes aren't

The Nothing 3a Pro comes very close to the iPhone 16e and is about half the price. I just got my mom the 16e because her four year old iPhone SE had been throttled to the point it was barely keeping a

At this point in mobile phone evolution I think the form factor is about as good as it can be. I just wish companies would make upgradeable and repairable phones that were more modular. If you needed a

That's interesting to here! My last non-Apple mobile wasn't even a smart phone so I don't have any other experience to judge by.

Yes, kind of like a cult in some respects.

I'll definitely be checking that book out! Thanks again!

You're welcome! My Mom's book was nice but she only completed about ten of the prompts. It's something at least. I'll probably pass mine onto a younger relative at some point, probably a niece or nephew.

Yes! Medium has been around for a really long time. I dabbled with it for a year before finding Steemit in 2016. I think I just, generally, have more enthusiasm now to take my writing in different directions

Thank you. It's getting more and more difficult to stand out on these platforms but I'm adopting the attitude of, I'll put in the work and if it's meant to be it will happen. Kind of my life-philosophy.
