RE: Memoir Monday #42 (12/23-12/29) - What are your favorite dishes—either to cook or to eat?
My great grandmother was from that part of the world. She'd make stuffed cabbage rolls and all kinds of soups from scratch. Delicious stuff!

I'm a big fan of food on the grill too. I need to get back into the swing of that now that we're back in a house. The tacos sound amazing. Do you use pita bread instead of tortillas/taco shells?

Oh, that looks delicious! After I wrote this I realized how much I left out of my post. I really like Nepali, Tibetan, Thai, and Indian food.

You should try it, seriously. You can’t taste the chocolate at all but it adds depth and richness to the chili. Something like a Mexican mole sauce but not quite as strong on the cocoa flavor. It’s the

RE: Memoir Monday: What is your biggest weakness?
Many of these sound like strengths instead of weaknesses to me. I admire people who know what they want and are forthright about how they feel...maybe because I spent so much of my life trying to please

RE: My Ultimate HIVE Road Trip Part 1: The East Coast
I've never been so I hope so! There's tons of things to do there outside of skiing season. We're going to have access to four-wheelers so we'll do some trail riding and there are lots of hiking trails.

RE: Tu me...
In my language, English, "I miss you" feel’s practical—concise, reserved. It’s a sentiment, yes, but lacks the aching physicality of something like tu me manques or îmi lipsești. Those phrases

It really does help you get through winter when you start looking ahead and focusing on planning activities for the warmer months. I'd love to get some camping in this next year. My brother and I are planning

Thank you, Nancy! I’m so glad to hear this resonated with you so strongly. Every now and then, I need a reminder that how we perceive and react to things beyond our control can profoundly impact our quality

This story raises as many questions as the NJ Drone story. The fact these two stories have occurred so closely together and both of them don't add up makes one question if they're interrelated in some

Patience and understanding can be tough, especially if people make the same mistakes again and again. I can sympathize with you. It can be very frustrating if people aren't willing to work on themselves.

So true Nancy! Identifying our weaknesses is the first step. It can be tough to change our behavior, especially once we have four or five decades of it etched into our brains. I've noticed it's almost

The fact that we can't make others happy is a lesson that took me many decades to learn! I'm sorry to hear about your neck/shoulder issues and I hope it's nothing major. The home has been great up until
