RE: Memoir Monday #30 (9/30-10/6) - How do you plan to spend the next decade of your life?
Don't you think that sometimes that breeze is like our mentor, sweeping us up to take us to the places we're meant to be? That's how I feel. The universe (which a higher power constructed) is intelligent

RE: Memoir Monday #30 (9/30-10/6) - How do you plan to spend the next decade of your life?
I certainly hope to make the most out of these next few decades. I can see how life is beginning to change in my fifties, everything feels more immediate and priorities are shifting. I was so terrified

It's so painful. Mine are healing little by little with time but my range of motion is only about 50% of what it used to be. I have a really tough time reaching above my head for things on shelves and

I don't know how you drove either! That hits you like a wrecking ball, physically and mentally. I hope you feel better soon. Rest is the best thing. It's so tricky because once your immune system is triggered

RE: Memoir Monday #29 - How would you describe your parents' relationship?
I''m sorry you and your siblings had to go through all that. Times were so different back then. The scales of justice and mostly everything else was tilted in favor of the men. Did your mom stay in Florida

RE: Long Haul Rider Masterplan (#MemoirMonday)
I love it! You're so right, it's foolish to make steadfast plans about things you can't control. What we can do is decide how we're going to perceive and react to external events and maybe have a flexible

Thank you my friend! I can't wait to get back on that road. I really miss it. Facebook Memories are my arch nemesis because they remind me of how much traveling we were doing in years' past. On this very

When I was writing this I was trying to focus on things that were somewhat in my control, so much of life is outside of our control. I'm so sorry to hear you have Covid and I hope you're feeling better!

RE: Memoirmonday №29/How would you describe your parents' relationship? My answer:
Your mom sounds like an incredible person and it's wonderful that you inherited so many of her traits. You look so much like her! I often wonder why it's so common for one spouse to have to endure so much

I'm sorry to hear about the disharmony in your parents' relationship! I think jealously was more of a problem back then. I remember my father confronting other men in public if he thought they were paying

Arthur sounds so much like my dad was. He was probably a mechanical genius but so very humble. I'm glad to hear you're getting so much out of Memoir Monday, Lizelle! I certainly have enjoyed reminiscing

What an incredible story about your parents! It takes a lot of work and compromise to stay together for that long and when a couple does it happily it's very inspirational. Love conquers all. Thanks for
