There's no greater feeling than the exhaustion you get from gardening. A lot of people here in the US are waking up to the importance of organic farming. It's a struggle here because of how much corporations

RE: Memoir Monday #24. Primer trabajo [ENG-ESP]
What a journey you've had! Isn't in incredible to look back at all the struggles and triumphs of your career? Sometimes I can hardly believe I survived it all. I'm reading a very interesting book now called

RE: Memoirmonday contest #24. How I got my first Job.
That took a lot of courage to just pick up and move like you did with no plan or a place to stay! It sounds like you learned a lot of valuable lessons from the experience. I'm glad it worked out for you!

RE: Who let me work? | Memoir Monday #24
I love that you've never been subjected to a 9 to 5 job! It's almost always a toxic environment, there are lessons to be gleaned there but there's also the threat of being lulled into a false sense of

RE: Memoir Monday: My first teaching job
I like how you used the proceeds of those first few jobs to buy a computer. How important was that computer to your future? I bought my first real computer around 1993 and it was the gateway to everything

RE: Memoir Monday #24: My first job, my second home
Isn't it funny how sometimes we learn the most lessons from things we initially dread? Sometimes it's as though that dread we feel is the pain of being pushed out of our comfort zones. Thanks so much for

RE: Memoir Monday #24 (8/19-8/25) - How did you get your first job?
You've had a lot of different kinds of jobs! Isn't it strange to think back to the times before inflation was so horrible and how much a dollar could buy? I think I made under $5 an hour when I started

What an interesting first job! Farming is very hard work, but rewarding. I can imagine you learned lessons that you're still using today in your garden. Thanks for joining the initiative again this week

How cool that those four days set you on the path of your life's work! It sounds like you did a fair amount of traveling for your job. What was your favorite country you visited?

I think people come into our lives to teach us specific lessons. Lord, have I had an exhaustive education in my life! Lol. It's my favorite proverb. I found it in 2011 when I was writing my best man speech

That sounds like it would be a real challenge. You'd almost need to sell it off a truck or start a subscription service. We have one here called Brake Bread that does all their deliveries on cargo bikes.

That would be wonderful. I haven't been to a 'Fest since Lisbon in 2017. I hope HiveFest is in Europe again next year. Thank you @zirochka! We appreciate it. I hope you have a good week.

This looks wonderful! I need to get back to baking again. I just bought a loaf of einkorn sourdough bread and plan on trying it this week. I've never tasted einkorn before.

I like that old Swedish proverb, "Shared joy is a double joy; shared sorrow is half a sorrow". I believe life is better with someone to share it with but it has to be the right person, if not
