Who remembers that scene from the classic: Zootopia (okay, okay…let’s agree to call it a classic at least this one time)
Now I would be a little confused with my hand in my hair too. I’d have the most unconvinced face, trying hard to automatically play out the scene you are referring to. On that note, you can pause here to go watch Zootopia 1 so you can relate. Now, the latter part of the movie features a scene where an individual in a red car, all windows up is seen speeding down the road like no one’s business. And who was the man behind the wheel? Oh yes -- it was indeed a particularly slow character: a sloth.
For me and maybe a few other people, Arne Slot had a beautiful first season with Liverpool Football Club. He clinched the league title in what could be described by some as a fairy tale season. Unlike Amorim, who seems to have gotten the wrong side of red, Slot hit the ground running.
Our sloth friend suggests that things are not always as they seem. Now, given some time and a new season, a recent poor run by LFC under Slot is giving off signals that sound like trouble in la-la land.
But you know what? Let’s not be quick to jump to conclusions, yeah. After all, this is LFC who are still pretty much one of the best in the game by all standards.
As for Amorim and his reds, that’s another story.
Another story for another day
PS: I actually stalled on posting this and Zootopia 2 was just released yesterday
