So it was, a convergence of Steemians, one of the largest of its kind thus far on the African continent, people from various parts of the country were featured. Newbies throbbed in, potential steemians were also very much represented, as they all gathered in Ibadan city of Nigeria. (It had so much semblance to the apalachin meeting of 1957. (if you know you know)).
I call it conference because this was more than just a meetup, from the ushering in, to the general organization of the entire event.
.
Notable steemians the like of @ejemai
@gbenga
@destinysaid
@fisteganos
@gee1
@tojukaka
@ehiboss amongst other strong steemians held the helms of affairs
This was the first meetup I have attended, as I previously did not see the point in it. Yesterday however I saw why people go for these meetups. No, it’s not for free SBD, nor free any other thing…. Okay maybe pizza.
For me a first timer, the first thing that amazed me was that I got to put a face to a lot of names I have been relating with, first of who was @gbenga, he looked totally different from the mental oicture I had, same went for the troublesome
@adejoke16 and many others.
@sushie and
@mediahousent anchored the program, the duo was a delight.
It was classic edutainment with food as its crown. I loooove steemit.
From deliberations, discussing with few steemians a few ingenious ideas came forth, which I believe you would be seeing very soon. I’ll remind you I said this, when you find them mindblowing
What impressed me the most was the organization and the programme, It went from the no-knowledge to the depth of the sea.
I was also thrilled when I discovered the actual idea behind stach, I learnt a few new things, cracked jokes with a few pretty things, shared gorgeous selfies, such beautiful things.
I'm sure the next one will be bigger, and with a grander style. Enjoy a few of the pictures
