Someone said,
if you are not at the peak of it, then should should be aiming for the peak of it, if you can not get to the peak of it, why are you doing it?
We all envy those at the top, we want to get there, the problem starts and end there, that "want" is not really want, it's just a wish.
As mundane and generic as this old saying goes "If you believe it you can achieve it", it is actually true.
I learnt the solution to all of life's problems are in the bible, I can't tell to what degree that is true, but I can attest I have found solutions to a number of major issues from the bible, I found the solution to this too
If you can believe it you can achieve it might have gotten it's source from the bible's "if you have faith you can move mountains [implying you can achieve any feat]"
This isn't, or at least doesn't seem like a lot to take in, however, let me attempt to break it down
I checked various dictionaries for this one, I got a combination of words life; careful and determined, earnest and persistent, constant and earnest, persistent exertion, careful and persistent. These were the various qualifiers for effort put into a particular thing.
In my own definition unorganized as it might be, diligence is finding the best way to do something, and keep doing it like that. it might be strenuous, it might be expensive, it might be time consuming, it might be out of line with how others do it, but do it and keep doing it that way.
Then there is the promise you will
Some versions put it as "serve kings". Kings were the height of authority those days, the head of state, the prime minister, the president. And here are you being told that if you stay diligent, you will do business with this position, that is you probably providing services for the entire country.
Take a minute, think back at the stress of being diligent, now, don't you think it's worth it.
Take time out and read about most of the succesful people we put in mentor positions these days, it did not come on a platter of gold, they had to persist through hardships, they had to keep improving themselves or their products.
This is the way up, join me
