Taking a few minutes to think about you
I realize where David's inspiration came from
Taking a few minutes to look around me
I realize what it means to be God
You are God means You are awesome
and not just as a compliment, you are actually awesome
You are overwhelmingly intelligent
Now I understand when someone says you cannot be quantified
You can not be compared
You can not be comprehended
It is because our measure are subject to our knowledge
Our knowledge is insignificant besides yours
I imagine scientists saying
our most intelligent use less than 10 percent of thier brain capacity
Then I imagine you, who created that brain
You ways are not our ways
Your thoughts are not our thought
Its just now I am comprehending
Why you cannot be comprehended
Cos everything we know and want to use to understand you
They were fashioned by you
It is like someone trying to know who I am
By studying an artwork I made
Such person will get nowhere
We are made in your likeness
But we are just shadows in comparison to your being
You are what we can't ever fathom
Which is why questions like where was the beginning
Will keep running us mad
Who made God
Our imagination is so limited
Like, God has to be made or born like we were
Or the beginning has to have had a beginning
Or where does the bottomless pit end
You are GREAT, in the real sense of it
Magnificient, Extraordinary, Supernatural
Awesome, Super-intelligent, and a million other things
I think because these things are numerous and we can;t cover it
Is why we came up with a word to hold everything in
the word GOD
