Kind of.... I just 'cloned' and tweaked a few settings that required a downed machine.
Why? Well, I wanted to further 'hide' and protect the validator by hiding it behind sentry nodes. I had also not completely implemented all of my performance tweaks, as one required me to format it again(largefile option).
The other improvement we've made is I have switched to using Linodes NVME blockstorage type. They are new and only at a few of their locations. After a few days, we will know if the work has paid off in the change but I suspect it already has.
I also just finished the Vidulum Validator Guide. I would love to hear your feedback on it if you have the time!
Please consider staking your Vidulum with my Validator,
I intend to keep a high bonded ratio, that way you know that I care about everyone's staked vidulum.
Currently, I am trying to keep it above 25%, but I am thinking that in the future, 10% is a great goal.
So, for right now, we will shoot for a 10% - 25% self-bonded ratio of all bonded Vidulum on the validator.
