Did you get on particularly well with men as a young woman or did you learn how to wrap a man around your finger? Which isn't really difficult, only for those who have never been able to do it. LoL - in other words: old strategies that were successful are hard to discard, especially if you were successful with them.
Polishing your vanity a little and being charming despite ‘I'm no longer on the market’ is probably not considered a mortal sin. However, the older gentlemen who are rejected can rightly be a little offended. If they weren't, you would probably be offended ;) HaHa!
