children are children not by "definition" but by nature. They are little and they have no life experience. It's as simple as that.
You don't ask a child for advice, do you?
Instead of "no other chance" you can say "no other way" which follows the natural order that one is first little in life and then grows. Yes, you make some nasty experiences as a child but then everyone does. Also everyone makes pleasant experiences and everything in between. You just prefer to talk about the nasty ones and how the world/people/parents "ought" to be not how they "are".
Children ARE victims when parenting works badly. That's right. How often do you need to read this until you hear it?
When they turn 18, 20 or older, they are no longer children. As a consequence, they can grow out of victimhood if they choose to do so. There is no other way. If you stick to being a victim or seeing other adults with bad experiences as being a victim for their life long, you treat them like they can't help themselves, you deny that they can mature. And so, your view of people will be a miserable one and you remain with all the pain you feel towards the world. Which makes you a nuisance. You seem to enjoy being one.
