Yes, violence is not the way to have a peaceful outcome. We largely can observe madness within our cities and as it seems, many people would like to escape them but can't. Habits and missing courage are one reason under many, I guess. I include myself in this.
Yes, you gave me already chapter nine. :) It's an interesting read and I came to ask the same questions our protagonist asks there.

By chance, you should also read Paul Shepard, for what it may be good for.

Right now, I am reflecting about so many errors and misunderstandings I was falling for throughout my life that it's a bit scary and I have to take care that I am not letting myself be obsessed about them.
