also - Second life is actually still around hahahahahaha

It is? Who would have thought that. LOL, do you know if it is a success?

Oh, being the boss can be a very tough job, right? I learned a lot leading teams and being self employed over the course of my life.
I learnt to distinguish the committed employees from the duty doers, where the wheat is separated from the chaff. People who have an employee soul expect to get everything prefabricated and nicely prepared, a great workplace with all the trimmings and they also want to be paid very well for all this service even though they do work by the book. Those who don't and know that work means something different to them and are really interested in what they do have a different attitude. There's nothing wrong with doing work by the book, but it doesn't help you personally very much, I would think. One of the employees we had to dismiss complained to us and asked where she was going to find a good job at "her age". After we had lost all our assets, private and company shares, and were completely broke. I could hardly believe so much stupidity, but I remained guilty of this statement because she actually had so little life experience in her early forties that I could not have explained it to her.
