If you were trying to be helpful with your comment and heard by Dreemport, your opening line would not make anyone want to read beyond that.

Not true for me. It raised my interest. You may find it offensive but saying that something is "idiotic" is just a personal opinion. You can of course choose another way to say something, but sometimes you don't.
