Hello to you,
The temporary transition from the Stone Age to the Space Age is now complete
What time frames are you thinking in? In terms of the Space Age, are you still in the present or already further into the future? If so, how far?
Since the Stone Age led to an age of agrarian culture, where not everyone went from hunter-gatherers to sedentary farmers at the same time, but nomadism co-existed, and the age of industrialisation of agriculture nevertheless allowed small farmers to co-exist, especially since these developments never happened simultaneously across the globe, I don't see anyone being an astronaut yet. Not sure if that is correct but until the beginning of the milenia farming societies were still in very high significant numbers in relation to industrialized ones. Though I may have perceived that wrong...
I don't know average folks who travel in space, but I have known and still know farmers, a few technicians/engineers and a lot of merchants and office/bureaucratic workers.
If the age had already been initiated and the previous one completed (whatever that means, I am also not so sure about linear development), we would have seen a transition that would allow something like space travel in a similar way to driving a car, I guess. From my point of view, one can only speak of an age when this happens on an everyday level. I don't see any spaceship capsules that you could board at capsule stops and then fly once around the earth. I do see ships, trains and aeroplanes.
I see your statement as quite full-bodied. I assume that you cannot mean the practical application of space travel for everyday people. But what do you mean then?
Greetings to you.
