People tend to think of themselves as critical or going against the stream, while they are not. Modern people, who grow up within a foreign supply chain system, in combination with a social system highly regulated, hardly go to the deeper issues of what this actually means. In the moment you come into a situation, where
a.) you are not confirming with that highly governed system and you seek to find a way out of it, you realize that you can't
b.) since hardly anyone seeks a way out, it does not occur in normal daily life to think of oneself as being "unfree"
c.) to realize that one is only free to move within the regulations (tax, social system, health system, working environment , traveling etc.) but not out of them, it hits hard
So I myself was hitting hard since 2020
If you do not built up a very trustful community which worked towards getting exceptions to the rules (not all, but some of them), you find there is no way out.
Does that make sense to you?
