It took me some days to answer. Busy with reading Watts :)

I think also that more people do this than most would guess, because it's another tabooish topic that probably won't get brought up at the dinner table for conversation.

That is a good point. That which is not mentioned and not talked about is nevertheless part of existence. Beyond what we use to communicate to one another there is a vast realm.

This is so true, others who perform different forms of art can confirm there is an inexplicable trance that occurs during performances, and a special type of energy that fills the performer in front of audience, or even during the creation or recreation of an artful expression while alone.

It fills me with the inexplicable when I experience music, dance and art. There is no thought, no judge but just be and enjoy the play. Nothing "in order to feel or do".

It happens to me all the time, and most of the time I attribute it to vagueness in a persons language.

Is it really the vagueness in verbal language or improper communication? Can it be that verbalization actually only expresses what one has already felt within an encounter? Something of in-coherence? And while we try to convince each other to use more appropriate or precise terms the situation indeed asks for more allowance for what is being felt (sensed, smelled, viewed)?

Words/terms only ever refer to themselves. It can be a tedious and endless effort to come to the "right terms", for they are circular. LOL

Perhaps Tesla just harbored some information in his brain that gave him the ability to perceive reality in its complete form, or in a form that is unperceivable to most with our current five senses.

Since I am currently under the spell of Watt's books, I would reply that it is precisely because man has eyes, ears, nose, hands, that he is able to perceive a reality that adapts to the fact that he has eyes, ears, noses and physicality already realises the whole universe without having to see, hear, smell and touch it in detail. So I would say Tesla did not have it in his brain as information, but as intangible knowledge through the experience that it cannot be grasped.

Which reminds me, funnily enough, of the scene in Douglas Adam's Hitchhiker's where Arthur Dent learns to fly. He manages to do this by forgetting that he is going to hit the ground from the moment he falls, and by having something of great distraction happen between the unspeakably short moment between dropping and hitting the ground. For example, a pair of beautiful women's legs passing by or an explosion. And if Watts had known Adams, he probably would have quoted him somewhere.

By forgetting who I want to be or what I want to achieve, I achieve it with artful spontaneity, don't I? Which brings us back to music and any kind of art that comes about without any effort, as if by itself.

I heard someone recently suggesting that placing cones on your forehead can direct mental energy focus to increase/focus/channel intention into reality.
I think of this movie "Coneheads" and wonder if it's true.
I can print specifically shaped cones and play around with this a bit.. maybe I'll float on up out of here... hehe :D

HaHa! Why not, if it's for the fun of it?
I think it also works without cones, just imagine something is placed there (though an item often helps). After a while it really starts to "itch" in a very peculiar way, as if an energy point starts to get really hot, and from there spreads around the whole body. While I do not understand what you mean with "intention into reality". Can you give an example?
I have not seen the movie.
:-D have a good floating!

Thank you, it's also a pleasure for me.
