Though I am not in synch with the doom talks about earth. Dooms talks are dating way back in history, only with differing topics. The end of the world and the end of humanity, how many times was it predicted?

Better go down in a good mood than living a life full of worries and frightening future visions. If the human species finds an end, other life forms will be there (even if the "there" changes or disappears).
If people manage to enter the space and live there: fine. If not, also fine.
