Hey my friend,
Thank you for composing this creative piece my writing inspired for you! That's truly an honor for me, and I absolutely love it!
Without false praise, I want to say that hearing this from the mouth of such a talented musician as yourself makes me joyful.
To me it speaks of how life carries traumas that are unavoidable and sometimes unforeseeable but the good that oftentimes prevails from the trauma would never have been possible if not for the trauma itself.
The inevitable and the unpredictable are enemies of the suspicious and fearful in the emergence of a dicey situation that could go either way. One has a certain amount of influence and to neither overestimate nor underestimate it is probably the art in life.
Childbirth is certainly something a man could only try to imagine, but not the greatest amount of imagining could ever give a man much insight into it other than just bearing witness to this gift of life. It's an unescapable type of trauma that everyone will have some kind of associated experience with, whether direct experience or the experience of witnessing a new family member come into existence.
You say something really important there. Witnessing an event that involves such a seemingly violent experience, such as birth, can either throw the witness off completely or help them to gain a strength that they perceive as positive.
This would make for a beautiful song. I'm imagining which style might be good for it lol.
I sincerely hope that some vibe has set in while reading it and that you'll consider setting it to music if the opportunity arises in the future. For someone like me who can't use my own singing voice and doesn't play an instrument, it's the perfection of human collaboration.
Sorry for the late response here. I had some difficulty managing to get myself online because of some personal things in my life that have made it a little tough for me lately.
Priorities go according to whoever needs to set them and moods meet with a time lag and sometimes not at all. You have to live with that and I respect it in any case if you have other things that tie up your time and energy. Of course, I wouldn't be me if I didn't go a little bit in one direction now and then and want to bring you in. The door remains open.
All the best to you, as always :)
