I have a special relationship with the so-called mess. It can be balanced between existing clutter and tidy places for daily needs. Once, in a fit of tidying mania, I removed everything from the flat that seemed like clutter. Only to realise afterwards that I had done too much of a good thing and deprived myself of surprises and unexpected finds. Now I knew off the top of my head what could be found in every drawer and box, but it was precisely this knowledge that spoiled the joy of said expected surprises waiting for you in a box of odds and ends.
I even wrote about it here. It's a homage to clutter.

Some things you don't touch for many years can actually be used for something you start anew. I agree that you can go overboard with this and that the many boxes are again representative of not being able to part with things. So everyone has to find that out for themselves.

As for time, I would think it would be a matter of prioritising. I don't feel that people have too little time, as is often said, but that they have too much of it, often the opposite. If you had very little time, you wouldn't be able to blog regularly and engage in writing or creative programmes. However, you seem to prefer writing to doing other things and are the captain of your ship.

So from the distance of my complete cluelessness, I would have no suggestions for improvement, HaHa!

Interesting, you create sewing patterns. Do you have a sewing machine and did you also design clothes for yourself or adults? You know by now, that this is a hobby of mine :)
