Dear Betty,

I stumbled upon this letter of yours, forgive me being noisy but as it happened that you let it lay around I took the chance. Let me answer you, you've found a charming and diplomatic way to give Dolores some of your knowledge and wisdom without having this particular prude under-tone people our age are accused of.

You yourself may be pleased with this kind of surprise on my part, since I put this note under your pot after we drank your tasty and fragrant tea, which, I can only confirm, has an excellent aroma! I remember that such slip of paper hides have always enjoyed some popularity, precisely because they come unexpectedly, and having myself had the rare pleasure of such delights, I very much hope you find it refreshing, dear Betty.

Oh, what a laugh I had when I read your lines about the harmlessness of photons, indeed, my dear, I am amused by them. Although there have been some moments of a very peculiar and third kind, in my own existence as a woman, as I have come close to wondering if someone photonic could gain power over me, as it seemed to slide in that direction. Well, there's always the "off" button, isn't there? And already after one day it seems very absurd to have even thought such a thing.

But now, I don't want to make it too long and say goodbye to you with a wink!

Greetings from your long-time friend Estelle
