You're very welcome! It was a pleasure to read the submissions and take a closer look at them. Thank you for complimenting me on my template, I accept it with a smile. I had started two different stories but found them both colourless and too contrived. Finally, I decided to choose something that had a connection to my real life. Maybe you know what it's like: you want to write something, something great and moving, but all that's going on in your head are movie scenes or content from other people's books (which, because they are so good, seem to be the standard of things, but in the concern to equal them, you can only do worse).
For this reason, I don't operate a regular timing of competition, because I don't produce anything according to a schedule, but when the muse kisses me.
Everyone here, whether a participant or not, has their own particular qualities; it is, insofar as I am allowed, a wish to recognise the potential and bring it out when I read the participants' stories, for example. I can give something and I can learn something.
And then, to take some of the seriousness out of it, it is a pleasant pastime, of which, it seems, we have some left. :)
I have come to value you very much as a conversationalist and follow your example in that you have reminded me to read even more carefully. Thank you very much for that!
