I stopped caring about what anyone thinks about me and I don't care about what I think about them.

Would it aggravate you, if I would say that I do not believe you?
You seem to relativize it a bit yourself when you say you "try never to care about ..."
That's my point. I am trying it, either. I find it very very difficult to be successful - LOL - my inner judges and "I know it better voices" are sometimes really a pain in the ass.

When you say, life is meaningless, I agree, while it sounds firstly negative. Also, pleasing someone with a pleasant act is different and very enjoyable, compared to wanting to please everybody by "correct speech".
